親愛的各位社友、國際扶輪3522地區總監與各位前輩、第一分區的友社社長與社友們、我們台灣四東會的友社社友們、來自八尾扶輪社、東京江戶川扶輪社、香港九龍東區扶輪社的姊妹社友們，以及在場的寶眷與各位貴賓，大家晚上好。
今天，我們齊聚一堂，共同慶祝台北市東區扶輪社第62屆社慶。首先，我要向每一位出席今晚盛會的朋友，表達我最誠摯的感謝。正是因為你們的支持、鼓勵與熱情參與，我們東區扶輪社才能一路走來，不斷成長、茁壯，也才能在社區與國際服務中發揮最大的影響力。今晚的聚會，不僅是對過去一年努力的肯定，更是對未來的期許與展望。
我們今年度的年度主題是「團結行善，不忘初心」。這個主題不僅體現了我們扶輪社一貫秉持的價值，更是提醒我們，無論社會如何變化，扶輪人對服務、關懷、友誼與共享的初心，始終不可忘懷。在這一年的社會服務旅程中，我們的每一項活動都離不開社友們的積極投入與寶眷們的細心支持。正是這份無私的付出，讓我們能將每一個服務計畫落實到位，真正帶給社區、學校與弱勢群體實質的幫助。
在台灣社區服務方面，我們東區扶輪社今年持續關注花蓮偏遠地區的弱勢群體，特別是畢士大教養院與安德啟智中心。這些機構承擔了照護身心障礙朋友的重要責任，而我們社友們每一次的探訪、關懷、捐助，不僅為院民帶來溫暖，也為他們的照護團隊增添支持與動力。此外，我們特別關注教育與青少年發展，我們也全力支持宜蘭員山國中女籃清寒學生計畫，期盼她們能獲得獎助金與溫暖的關懷，助力學習與成長。明年一月中，我們東韻合唱團將舉辦一場慈善公演，為高雄聖功長照爺奶村建設募款，期待社友與社區朋友們能持續給予支持與鼓勵。這些服務計畫展現了我們扶輪人的精神——以行動帶來改變，用愛心影響社會。
在國際服務方面，我們同樣取得了豐碩的成果。今年9月，在保母社台北北區扶輪社的全力協助下，以及多個輔導與友好扶輪社的大力支持，我們完成了泰北清邁兩所華人學校的直飲濾水站建設。這兩所學校分別是清邁一新中學與清邁大谷地華興中學。透過這項服務，我們不僅改善了學生的飲水環境，也讓他們在健康、安全的環境中學習成長。這是一項具有深遠意義的人道關懷行動，也展現了我們扶輪社跨國合作的力量與影響力。此外，我們本年度也積極推動其他國際交流活動，其中包括接待來自巴西的RYE交換學生。透過這些青年交流計畫，我們希望促進跨文化理解，培養年輕人對全球社會的關注與責任感，這也正是扶輪國際精神的核心所在。
我們今年在國際扶輪全球獎助金計畫方面，也取得了令人鼓舞的成果。特別感謝香港九龍東區扶輪社與我們一同支持的海洋科學教育推廣計畫。該計畫針對台北市永吉國中的師生們，透過實際課程與實驗設備，引導學生探索海洋科學的奧秘，提升科學素養與環境保護意識。這不僅是教育的投資，更是扶輪人對未來世代的承諾。
展望未來，2026年6月，台北將迎來國際扶輪年會。我們誠摯歡迎所有國際姊妹社一同前來，與我們共襄盛舉，分享扶輪友誼、交流理念，並共同見證扶輪人對社會的承諾與行動。我相信，藉由這次盛會，我們將有更多的機會深化國際合作，拓展社會服務的廣度與深度，並持續培養新一代扶輪人的責任感與服務精神。
最後，我要衷心感謝今天蒞臨的每位朋友，感謝社友們的熱情參與、寶眷們的細心支持，以及國際扶輪3522地區總監、前輩、第一分區與四東會友社、八尾扶輪社與東京江戶川扶輪社、香港九龍東區扶輪社的姊妹社友們長久以來的支持與陪伴。有了大家的努力，我們才能持續服務社會，讓扶輪友誼長存，愛與關懷傳遞到每一個角落。
Dear fellow Rotarians, District Governor and esteemed seniors of Rotary International District 3522, Presidents and members of the sister clubs in Subdivision One and the Sze-Tung-Huei (Four East Club Alliance), members of our sister clubs from the Rotary Club of Yao, Osaka, Japan, the Rotary Club of Tokyo Edogawa, Japan, and the Rotary Club of Kowloon East, Hong Kong, as well as all family members and distinguished guests present here tonight, good evening.
Today, we gather to celebrate the 62nd Charter Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Taipei East. First and foremost, I wish to express my most sincere gratitude to every friend who has graced tonight's splendid event. It is precisely because of your support, encouragement, and enthusiastic participation that our Rotary Club of Taipei East has been able to constantly grow and flourish, allowing us to maximize our impact in both community and international service. Tonight's gathering is not just an affirmation of the efforts of the past year but also an anticipation and outlook for the future.
Our theme for this Rotary year is "Unite to Do Good, Never Forget the Original Intention." This theme not only embodies the values our Rotary Club consistently upholds but also reminds us that regardless of how society changes, the Rotarian's original intention of service, care, fellowship, and sharing must never be forgotten. Throughout this year's journey of community service, every one of our activities has depended on the active dedication of our members and the thoughtful support of their family members. It is this selfless contribution that enables us to effectively implement every service project, truly bringing substantial assistance to communities, schools, and vulnerable groups.
In terms of community service in Taiwan, the Rotary Club of Taipei East has continued this year to focus on supporting underprivileged groups in the remote areas of Hualien, especially the Bethesda Welfare Center and the Ander Developmental Center. These institutions play a vital role in caring for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Every visit, act of care, and donation from our members not only brings warmth to the residents but also provides encouragement and support to their caregiving teams. In addition, we pay special attention to education and youth development. Our club fully supports the scholarship program for financially disadvantaged members of the Yilan Yuanshan Junior High School girls’ basketball team, hoping that they can receive both financial aid and heartfelt encouragement to help them learn and grow. In mid-January next year, our Taipei Dong-Yun Choir will hold a charity concert to raise funds for the construction of the St. Paul Long-Term Care Village in Kaohsiung. We look forward to the continued support and encouragement of our members and friends from the community. These service projects embody the true Rotary spirit—creating change through action and making a difference in society with love and compassion.
In terms of international service, we have also achieved fruitful results. This September, with the full assistance of our Mother Club, the Rotary Club of Taipei North, and the strong support of several sponsoring and friendly Rotary Clubs, we completed the construction of direct-drinking water filtration stations in two Chinese schools in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. These two schools are Yishin Middle School in Chiang Mai and Wah-Hing Middle School in Ta-Ku-Ti. Through this service, we have not only improved the students' drinking water environment but also enabled them to learn and grow in a healthy and safe setting. This is a humanitarian initiative of profound significance, showcasing the strength and impact of our Rotary Club's transnational cooperation. Furthermore, we have actively promoted other international exchange activities this year, including hosting an RYE exchange student from Brazil. Through these youth exchange programs, we hope to foster cross-cultural understanding and cultivate a sense of global awareness and responsibility among young people, which is the core of Rotary's international spirit.
We have also achieved encouraging results in the Rotary International Global Grant program this year. Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Kowloon East, Hong Kong, for jointly supporting the Marine Science Education Promotion Program with us. This program targets teachers and students at Yongji Junior High School in Taipei City, guiding students to explore the mysteries of marine science through practical courses and experimental equipment, thus enhancing scientific literacy and environmental protection awareness. This is not only an investment in education but also a commitment from Rotarians to future generations.
Looking ahead, Taipei will host the Rotary International Convention in June 2026. We sincerely welcome all our international sister clubs to join us, share the spirit of Rotary fellowship, exchange ideas, and jointly witness the commitment and action of Rotarians to society. I believe that through this grand event, we will have more opportunities to deepen international cooperation, expand the breadth and depth of social service, and continuously nurture the sense of responsibility and spirit of service among the new generation of Rotarians.
Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to every friend present today. My sincere thanks go to our fellow Rotarians for their enthusiastic participation, to our families for their thoughtful support, and to the Rotary International District 3522 Governor, our past leaders, members of Area 1 and the Four East Clubs, as well as our sister clubs—Yao Rotary Club, Tokyo Edogawa Rotary Club, and Hong Kong Kowloon East Rotary Club—for their long-standing support and companionship.It is through everyone’s dedication and effort that we are able to continue serving society, preserving the everlasting Rotary friendship, and spreading love and care to every corner of the world.
親愛なるロータリーの仲間の皆様、国際ロータリー第3522地区ガバナーおよび諸先輩方、第1分区分科会友好クラブの会長と会員の皆様、台湾四東会（四東クラブ連合）の友好クラブ会員の皆様、八尾ロータリークラブ、東京江戸川ロータリークラブ、香港九龍東区ロータリークラブの姉妹クラブ会員の皆様、そしてご家族の皆様とご来賓の皆様、こんばんは。
本日、私たちは台北東区ロータリークラブの第62回創立記念式典を祝うために一堂に会しました。まず、今夜の盛会にご出席いただいた全ての皆様に、心より感謝の意を表します。皆様からのご支援、ご激励、そして熱心なご参加のおかげで、私たち東区ロータリークラブは今日まで成長し、発展を遂げ、地域社会および国際奉仕において最大限の影響力を発揮することができています。今夜の集いは、この一年の努力を肯定するだけでなく、未来への期待と展望を示すものでもあります。
今年度の私たちのテーマは「団結して善行を、初心を忘れずに」です。このテーマは、私たちロータリークラブが一貫して堅持してきた価値観を体現するだけでなく、社会がどのように変化しようとも、奉仕、思いやり、友情、分かち合いに対するロータリアンの初心を常に忘れてはならないことを私たちに思い起こさせます。この一年の社会奉仕の旅路において、私たちのどの活動も、会員の皆様の積極的な参加とご家族の皆様の細やかなサポートなくしては成り立ちませんでした。この惜しみない貢献こそが、一つひとつの奉仕計画を実現し、地域社会、学校、そして弱い立場にある人々に真の助けをもたらすことを可能にしているのです。
台湾での地域奉仕活動において、私たち台北東区ロータリークラブは、本年度も引き続き花蓮の遠隔地域に住む弱勢な人々に関心を寄せています。特に「ベセスダ養護院」と「アンダー知的障がい支援センター」には深い関わりを持っています。これらの施設は、心身に障がいを持つ方々のケアという重要な使命を担っており、私たち会員が行う訪問・支援・寄付の一つひとつが、入所者に温かさをもたらすとともに、ケアスタッフに励ましと力を与えています。また、教育と青少年の成長にも特別な関心を持ち、宜蘭・員山中学校女子バスケットボール部の経済的に困難な学生支援プロジェクトを全面的に後援しています。彼女たちが奨学金や温かい支援を得て、学びと成長を続けられることを願っています。さらに、来年1月中旬には、私たちの「東韻合唱団」が慈善合同公演を開催し、高雄の「聖功長照おじいちゃんおばあちゃん村」の建設支援を目的とした募金活動を行います。クラブ会員や地域の皆さまの変わらぬご支援とご声援を心よりお願い申し上げます。これらの奉仕活動は、私たちロータリアンの精神——「行動によって変化を生み、愛によって社会を動かす」——を体現するものです。
国際奉仕においても、私たちは同様に豊かな成果を収めました。今年の9月には、保母クラブである台北北区ロータリークラブの全面的な協力のもと、そして複数の指導・友好ロータリークラブの力強い支援を得て、タイ北部チェンマイにある2つの華人学校に直飲水濾過ステーションの建設を完了しました。この2つの学校は、チェンマイ一新中学校とチェンマイ大谷地華興中学校です。この奉仕を通じて、私たちは生徒たちの飲料水環境を改善しただけでなく、彼らが健康的で安全な環境の中で学び成長できるようにしました。これは深い意義を持つ人道支援活動であり、私たちロータリークラブの国際的な協力と影響力を示しています。さらに、今年度、私たちはブラジルからのRYE交換学生の受け入れを含む、その他の国際交流活動も積極的に推進しました。これらの青少年交流計画を通じて、私たちは異文化理解を促進し、若者が地球社会への関心と責任感を育むことを願っています。これこそがロータリーの国際精神の核となる部分です。
私たちは今年、国際ロータリーのグローバル補助金プログラムにおいても、心強い成果を収めました。特に、香港九龍東区ロータリークラブが私たちと共に支援してくれた海洋科学教育推進計画に感謝します。この計画は、台北市永吉中学校の教師と生徒を対象とし、実践的な授業と実験設備を通じて、生徒たちが海洋科学の奥深さを探求し、科学的素養と環境保護意識を高めることを目的としています。これは教育への投資であるだけでなく、ロータリアンによる未来の世代への約束でもあります。
今後、2026年6月には台北で国際ロータリー年次大会が開催されます。私たちは、全ての国際姉妹クラブが一緒に来場し、私たちと共にこの盛会に参加し、ロータリーの友情を分かち合い、理念を交流し、ロータリアンの社会へのコミットメントと行動を共に目撃することを心より歓迎します。この大会を通じて、私たちは国際協力を深め、社会奉仕の幅と奥行きを広げ、次世代のロータリアンの責任感と奉仕の精神を継続して育む、より多くの機会を得られると信じています。
最後に、本日ご臨席くださったすべての皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。クラブ会員の熱意あるご参加、ご家族の皆さまの温かいご支援、そして国際ロータリー第3522地区のガバナー、諸先輩方、第1分区および第4東グループの友好クラブ、八尾ロータリークラブ、東京江戸川ロータリークラブ、香港九龍東区ロータリークラブという姉妹クラブの皆さまからの、長年にわたるご支援とご友情に深く感謝いたします。皆さまのお力添えがあってこそ、私たちはこれからも社会への奉仕を続け、ロータリーの友情を永遠に紡ぎ、愛と温かい思いやりを世界の隅々まで届けることができます。
